Are you ready to be a clonemaster?!
Clones, which is based strongly on lemmings, is a smooth but strategic game. The single player gets you thinking and the multi-player puts it into full fast paced action.

You get the basics of the old lemmings game where you control lemmings, making them dig, drill and of course explode. They have added in a few thing such as environmental objects that allow you to teleport and even one that allows you to change gravity for each clone. This all allows for great multi-player gameplay.

Now the multi-player does have rankings, match playbacks and a ‘What you see is what you get’ level editor. Meaning it’s super easy to make custom maps. So the multi-player functions are all there and with the customizations of the multi-player, such as an avatar, even each of your little clones start to look different from each other with hats and stuff that are unlocked from the single player. It all ties in for some enjoyable times. But if you plan on playing online, bring some friends. This game does have a small online community which I was able to play one game with three people in the last three days (which was the weekend.) So this $10 US Dollar game can end up easily be $40 US Dollars just to get some good multi-player out of.

The single player starts out slow, making sure you know all the steps of it, teaching you every-single ability you can do with your clones. With a game promising ‘No filler’ it does seem to stretch out the ability teaching too far. Once you move past it though, The fun and exciting single player levels to come out. The maps aren’t what you have seen before. As well as if you buy through steam you get some pretty strong achievements. So for those completionists you do get a lot out of the single player alone. The multi-player is still well worth the 40 dollars it may take to play it (buying friends copies.)

The single player is great, providing lots of hours of fun. The multi-player would be the perfect cherry on top if it had players. Making this game an 9/10
